In Venice

I arrived in Venice this morning after 3 days in Zurich. Its really
beautiful here but its a bit stressful since we only have 2 days here
and I am the tour guide to my parents.. Last night on the overnight
train someone tried to break into our room and steal our stuff at
4am!! Fortunately my Dad was awake and scared him away. So scary!!

On Monday morning I'm catching a train to Florence for 2 days then
over to Barcelona (3days) and Berlin (4 days). Then after 5-6 days in
HK I'm back in Sydney! =)

赞美耶和华

I'm leaving Beijing on Friday, and going to London next Tuesday. My Europe trip was pushed back by 6 days unfortunately, but that did mean I got to stay in Beijing for another 3 days - a very precious 3 days. Its incredibly hard to leave all the friends I made here behind. In particular, my tutor, who studies Accounting in Beijing RenMin DaXue, and a couple of Korean and Japanese students I met on our Xi'an trip. This trip was really memorable and heaps of interesting things happened that I think will have a big effect on my Christian life and my planning for the future in terms of work and ministry.

My Internet is going to end in 23 minutes time; no net for me tomorrow. I'm going to spend my last day just packing and chatting to my tutor, Dong Mei, 冬梅, and hopefully follow up on our trip to Haidian Church 海淀教堂last Sunday.

I miss everyone in Sydney a lot and I wish I could have contacted you guys more but the Taiwanese Earthquake made that incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to God for all my brothers and sisters in Sydney, and we dont know how lucky we are in Sydney to have a such a clear physical manifestation of our Spiritual family. Please pray for all those in Beijing who have been elected by God, who may or may not have
already come to Christ.

Amazed...

I'm so amazed at God's work. Miraculously I'm bringing a non-Christian
to church tomorrow and I pray he will continue to work miracles
tomorrow.

Update

I havent blogged for a while because the net in China is painfully
slow, and many US sites cant be visited at all.

Last few days, I've been in Xian with other students from my uni, and
went to the Terracotta soldiers. Sleeping on an overnight train in
China is very interesting.. I got back yesterday morning (Wed) but I'm
leaving again tomorrow night to Taiyuan, and returning to Beijing on
Monday morning - within 8 days I will have slept on the train for 4
nights!

I hope I will have a really good trip in Taiyuan =)
