Politics in Australia is so ridiculous... the whole Snowy Hydro affair is nonsensical; Howard changes his mind because the public sentiment is wrong, then Beazley (who wanted Howard to change his mind) criticises Howard for changing his mind, then tells him to change his mind on Telstra as well (another deal where the public sentiment is non-sensical and economically foolish).
